After decades living in the NW Chicago suburbs and owning our own restaurants (ba-da-ba-BA-BAAA 😉), we traded in our spatulas and the cold for peace and palm trees in SWFL. We enjoy focusing on the positive out in the world, even if it’s hard to find sometimes. Focusing more on all the amazing people and experiences in the retail and hospitality industry instead of click bait with the bad.

So, early retirement has us on a new journey of fun adventures focusing on great food and a bit of travel. All while trying to learn new things along the way! We'll share restaurant & travel experiences and learnings. We’ll come up with some of our own recipes, try out recipes from others (& make some mistakes so you don’t have to 😊) And as life can be random, there may be some other stuff too!
